Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years experience of IT project/delivery management

Prior strong background in Information Technology is essential and a varied
knowledge of relevant application server technologies coupled with a working
understanding of the clients business is crucial to successfully servicing
the business. This role requires a highly self-motivated, pro-active person
with strong analytical skills.
The successful DM will seek to continually improve upon the services they
represent and leverage their understanding of their clients business & IT to
advance the strategic financial goals of the firm.
Strong potential to expand jurisdiction of role within 1-2 years dependent
on performance and ability
Exposure to cross-functional senior management through management and
delivery of value-add initiatives
Opportunity to model & enhance existing delivery capability – driving the
design of new capability models
The Delivery Manager (DM) is the primary point of contact and advocate for
Global Application Development and the business into TIS/RDO for all Change
the Bank activity, along with other strategic initiatives. In this Trusted
Advisor capacity they will aid their clients to navigate through the TIS
organization and its processes, resolve tactical & strategic conflicts and
facilitate bi-directional strategic & operational information exchange
between TIS and GAD. DM’s also provide the wider TIS organization a
mechanism for the advancement of firm wide technology initiatives, such as
OS Patching, Disaster Recovery Testing & Technology rollouts.
The DM is a high profile role within TIS, given the direct client contact,
but does not have Direct Reports. It is expected that the DM will manage the
resolution of their client’s issues, including punctual delivery of post
mortems around business impacting outages, and the delivery of their
projects through the Global TIS Organization. Leveraging this global
resource pool effectively and balancing the clients work requirements with
the wider needs of the firm is a key challenge. You must therefore be able
to communicate with all levels to match service expectations with service
levels.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Drive AD teams to forecast infrastructure requirements for all CTB project.
Continuously track and analyze AD CTB capital spend for all active projects.
Drive RDOs delivery functions to enhance client facing service interfaces
Partner with Business Management to develop metrics to track and measure TIS
delivery performance
Spearhead client initiatives that leverage strategic TIS platforms.
Ensure timely client communication of TIS infrastructure changes through
active participation in TIS Change Process.
