The project team is tasked with creating a SharePoint portal to display information stored in a SQL backend database. The SharePoint site needs to be dynamic and integrated with other corporate SharePoint sites. REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS with 5+ years experience as a SQL DBA. Must have strong and relevant knowledge of SharePoint development. SQL 2008 3+ current and consecutive years of SharePoint experience. SharePoint 2007 Standard, knowledge of integrating SharePoint webparts Experience with programming languages: .NET or other relevant languages Responsible for the integration of SharePoint and SQL server to generate a dynamic SharePoint experience Responsible for the design and documentation of the integrated solution Create the presentation layer between a variety of in house tools, the SQL backend database and SharePoint 2007 standard Evaluate and make recommendations to management for new and/or updated tools and process improvements. Communication and Soft Skills Must be able to work independently with time-sensitive, competing server deployment projects.
