GWT (Google Web Toolkit) experience/knowledge
J2EE applications and Application Servers. (Websphere/Weblogic/JBoss)
Strong UI design.
Experience in Architecting Search / Discovery, Content Management systems
for high volume content.
XML processing, Query, transformation technologies
Indexing, search and retrieval technologies using multiple products /
frameworks.
Coordinating and working with multiple teams specifically in multi-vendor
environments.
Migration of legacy J2EE apps to newer technologies.
Design Principles/Design Patterns/UML
Spring MVC/IOC, Struts 1.x and 2.x, Google Web Toolkit, AJAX.
EJB/JSP/HTML/DHTML/Servlets/XMLs (XSD, XSLT, and DTD) and Java Script.
WSAD/RAD 6.x & 7.x/ECLIPSE 3.x/SourceContol tools.
Oracle/SQLServer.
MVC framework.
Project Life Cycle Methodology.
Webservices/SOAP/AXIS/JAX-RPC/REST-calls, Integration of apps using multiple
protocols with MIDDLEWARE.
Development Methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SDLC, and Test Driven Development)
Good communication and organizational skills.
This candidate must work with a sense of urgency / takes responsibility and
be very responsive with a customer service focus.

Description:
Sr. J2EE Tech Lead with experience (6+ year of Tech Lead/Architect role) in
architecting and developing B2B/B2C apps.
Ensure to deliver the good quality code and team is building as per
specification/requirement; translate the functional specification in to
technical specification.
Ability to work and deliver the high level and low level technical design
documents based on the business requirement and functional spec. Ability to
build the prototypes and POCs.
Ability to integrate the B2B/B2C application with Portal App.  Experience
with Portal technology is plus.
Should be able to estimate the work based on the requirements and
coordinates to complete the work within the estimated effort, lead the group
of developers/ASAs.
Improves enterprise IT strategies and practices for client engagement,
project methodology, architectural design, application/infra migration,
development team evolution, and IT support.
Aligns IT with business strategies through agile methodologies that leverage
business and technical architectures, information workflow, use case
analysis, and risk assessment to verify fitness-for-purpose.
Stabilizes ad-hoc support operations by clearly defining the boundaries and
responsibilities of project and operational teams, while progressively
injecting fitness checks earlier into the project lifecycle.
Facilitates realistic project planning based upon time-boxed delivery of
incremental functionality based on use cases, prioritized by business
criticality, and driven by technical and organizational risk.
Revitalizes software engineering teams through the introduction of agile
best practices, including team programming, test-driven development (JUnit),
repeatable builds (Ant), standardized environments, automated integration,
team testing, and continuous customer collaboration.
