REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a VMware SME. Three to Five years of VMware experience with heavy emphasis on VMware ESXi 4. Heavy emphasis on how to secure VM's and secure data due to special security concerns surrounding the data held on the VM's and storage devices. Working in a environment with a large # of ESXi 4 hosts (20) and all the VM's that will be rolled out and managed inside of it (approximately 100 or more) Knowledge of Nexus 1000v switch installation and can work on the VMware side of managing this type of switch. We have a Network team that handles the actually port group setups, troubleshooting Extensive knowledge of vCenter 4.0, VUM (for use with VMWARE, Windows and possibly Linux), VM template and cloning, Host profiles Three years experience supporting guest OS's in this type of environment, either Windows or Linux, both would be a plus MS Certification and/or RHEL Certifications a plus.
