MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable

perform the essential functions. Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in
CS, MIS, or other technical discipline preferred; advanced degree a plus.
Must have a minimum of five years’ increasingly responsible technology
experience, with prior hands-on work experience in Internet applications
development. Experience in a variety of front- and back-end capacities is
desired. Experience working with Vignette Content Management required.
Familiarity with Vignette Portal, DPM/DSM, DRM, CCE a plus. Experience
building Custom Widgets, Event Listeners, and/or CMA Extensions desirable.
Related Skills and Other Requirements: Ability to solve practical problems
and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Experienced team member with involvement in Internet projects from
conception through delivery, including developing and deploying to
production architectures. Must have a solid understanding of various
Internet technologies: Proven GUI development skills, including JSP/ASP/PHP,
HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and/or CSS Experience with XML, including XSLT,
Schema/DTD, XPATH, DOM, SAX/Xerces/Expat Strong working knowledge of
application servers, including BEA Weblogic (7.x, 8.x) and TomCat Knowledge
of major Internet applications such as content management systems, ad
servers, middleware platforms, and usage tracking systems Familiarity with
Web Services, SOAP, Struts, EJB, Servlets, J2EE patterns, UML, and/or
Object-Oriented Design a plus Understanding of issues related to
scalability, reliability, and performance Working knowledge of database
structure and design; strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL or PL/SQL
preferred Familiarity with standard Internet protocols (http, TCP/IP, IP
routing, etc.) Excellent communicator and solid team worker with
demonstrated initiative in problem solving. Must be highly self-motivated
and demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
