CCIE: Routing and switching or security. Hands on knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP etc). Successful candidate will have expert experience in IP networking, utilizing Cisco and Juniper hardware; and all types of IP routing utilizing a range of routing protocols. Extensive experience in BGP and OSPF routing, traffic flow analysis, network management, network topology design, security, performance and fault tolerant architecture. The candidate must have design experience using WAN technologies (OC-3, OC-12, etc), T-1, T-3, and E-1. Candidate must also have expert-level knowledge with layer 2/3 technologies. Hands-on experience solving network problems. Experience using protocol analyzers and understanding of communication protocol details. Responsibilities include installing and managing routers & switches, PIX/ASA and IDS/IPS security devices. Support routing (primarily BGP and OSPF), traffic flow analysis, network management, network topology design, security, performance and fault tolerant architecture. Configuration of DNS and DHCP services, Check Point firewall systems, internet service, remote access (WAN, VPN) systems and network monitoring systems. Skills Preferred: Experience with Cisco NAC and CSA is highly desired. Other experience desired: installation and support of remote access VPN and WAN (Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS) management and VoIP.
