Below are the details: Immediate interview for right candidate. After the phone interview, client will do a formal F2F on the first day, to make sure it is the same candidate that took the ph interview..:). Key skills are: Solaris, Oracle10g, Netbackup, SuSE Linux. (they need to have exp with all of these technologies) Solaris Admin with Oracle10g Exp Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 months (likely to go for 2 yrs) Required Skills: · 5 years of experience in supporting critical business applications on the Solaris operating system. · 3 years of experience performing UNIX systems and database backup administration. Knowledge and experience with Symantec Net Backup. · 2 years of experience in supporting Oracle's database management system (v. 10g) with ASM. · 2 years of experience with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server v. 10. · Experience with EMC SAN including fibre channel device configuration and Power Path management. · Significant responsibilities include troubleshooting and problem definition in response to monitoring alerts and service interruptions.
