Position Title: Java Developer - Sr.
Duration: 6 months Location: Jacksonville FL Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. 6+ years of prior Java development experience required. Requisition Notes: Job Summary: Technical expertise in web development (JSF/AJAX/JavaScript), as well as ability to define and document technology system scope, objectives, and requirements. Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Create system designs to facilitate the inter-operability of large-scale business systems for new web applications that provide functionality supporting railroad activities. Research, analyze, and define business solutions of large systems scope and complexity. Prepare detailed specifications for large complex projects and design solutions for complex business problems. Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems. Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process.
