*////NEED ONLY EADS, GREEN CARDS OR US CITIZENS////* REQUIREMENTS: looking for a Sr. Unix Admin with following skills: Solaris, Red Hat Linux, Sun, SPARC, VMWARE, NetApp Individual will be responsible for supporting enterprise Solaris, and Red Hat on Sun SPARC and Intel platforms, along with NetApp SAN and NAS. The individual will be involved in architecting and deploying virtual systems and physical hardware, storage, and systems software. Individual will be responsible for supporting mission critical applications in Production, DR, Integration, QA and Development environments. Individual will lead projects, provide design recommendations along with performing day to day support. Individual will be supporting Netbackup Media servers and backup integration with Symantec Puredisk. Individual will be working closely with the UNIX team, DBA*s, Microsoft Admins, Networking teams along with the application development group. Demonstrated knowledge of Sun hardware running SPARC and Intel with Solaris and Red Hat Linux. Experience in Sun Solaris Containers and Global Zones technology. Experience in Sun Flash Archive solution. Experience in VMWare on Red Hat Linux Platform. Experience using Network Appliance storage and software solutions. Experience in NetApp Snapshot, SnapMirror, SnapRestore, SnapVault, and FlexClone technologies. Experience in NFS and Fiber Channel storage configuration. Experience using Symantec Net Backup and NDMP for backup and recovery to diskpools and tapes. Understand system and database factors affecting Oracle and Sybase database and application performance. Demonstrated understanding of networking performance issues and requirements. Demonstrated skill in UNIX shell programming in and related UNIX utilities.
