Skills: Solaris 10, UNIX System Admin, Bourne Shell Scripting, Sun Jumpstart, JASS toolkit, OpenLDAP, RBAC, UNIX Tools (sed, awk, expect, etc.) SNMP, Cisco Networking EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experienced with integration and deployment issues involved in supporting a turnkey product in a customer environment. *Minimum 10 years experience with Sun Microsystems (Solaris 10 & 8).* Minimum 10 years experience with Unix System Administration. Minimum 5 years experience with Bourne shell scripting. Minimum 1 years experience of all of the following software/utilities: Solaris 10 Role Based Access Control (RBAC). OpenLDAP. Minimum 3-5 years experience with Sun Jumpstart and JASS toolkit. Minimum 2-3 years experience with standard UNIX tools, i.e., sed, awk, Expect. Minimum 3-5 years experience with Cisco networking. Minimum 5 years experience with system security and network security. Minimum 5 years experience in a heterogeneous system environment. 4-5 years experience building, automating, and supporting distributed computing environments. 3-5 years experience with Sun packaging and patching. 2-3 years experience with SNMP. Minimum 1 year of experience with TCP/IP socket connection theory and programming. Minimum 1 year of experience with Sun live upgrade and flash archive. Experienced with disaster recovery methods. Willing to work overtime and on-call as necessary to meet organizational needs. Experience with database configuration and management a plus. Prefer experience with Rational Clear Case. Experience and understanding of the telecommunications industry is a plus. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be on-site at the client's Seattle, WA office Monday through Friday. Bachelor*s degree (preferably in computer science or similar discipline) from a four-year college or equivalent experience Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
