Please send resume to [email protected] Location: Augusta-Maine Duration: 13 months Start: Immediate The System Administrator is responsible for server back up and security, along with performance tuning and capacity planning. *Complete Description:* This System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining an existing system. Candidates must have proven skills trouble-shooting and reverse engineering to perform discovery and develop an understanding of the existing system. Candidates must be experienced in advising management of system status and he or she should be experienced in recommending and advising management and non-technical users to necessary system changes. System Administrators should possess an understanding of network, distributed computing concepts, firewalls, active directory, system security and server virtualization. This is accomplished by working with the Systems Management Team Lead to understand the scope of services to be provided and assessing the impact they will have on the technical infrastructure.
