Position: SQL Consultant Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6+Months Market Rate looking for a SQL Consultant for a contract position with one of our leading Insurance/Financial Clients in Wilmington, DE. Experience in the Insurance/Financial Industry is highly preferred. (previous Met Life and/or AIG experience would be ideal) CLIENT REQUIRES AN ONSITE INTERVIEW SO CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ABLE TO COME TO DE FOR F2F AFTER THE PHONE INTERVIEW REQUIRED SKILLS: -Minimum 5 years progressive experience in Information Technology. -Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with SQL Server Integrated Services. -Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with relational databases and the use of Structured Query Language. -Advanced Data Warehousing techniques required. -Advanced analysis skills required. -Ability to demonstrate expertise with relational database objects, such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, etc., is required. -Experience with Informatica POWERCENTER and B2B or other related tools is helpful. -A high level of knowledge of the Insurance and/or Financial business is recommended. -Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Design and build Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services Packages. -Work closely with the Database Administrator to assist in designing and developing appropriate relational database structures. -Work closely with existing IT staff and Actuarial Support staff. -Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the SSIS packages as well as taking part in setting ETL best practices and standards. -Work closely with the Cognos 8BI Report Author to ensure we are meeting the increased demand for improved analysis and reporting. -Maintain a user-focused approach to application development and reporting solutions. -Identify tasks required to complete an assignment and estimate the duration of those tasks for accurate project plan reporting. -Produce technical specifications and test plans/test scripts, where applicable. -Recommend solutions to design, plan and implement applications. -Communicate with all levels of internal and external technical and non-technical staff. -Prepare project life cycle deliverables within expected time frame as specified by the project plan. -Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. -A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. -- Thanks & regards Sareen Bhaskaran Sr. Resource Manager| ProSoft CyberWorld Group, Inc [email protected] Phone Direct: 630-689-2960 ext 145; www.prosoftCyberworld.com Alternate email id [email protected] Yahoo IM: sareen_recruiter (only those who are in SALES please add me); CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
