*Description:* *Position: Web Developer for Inventory Application Project* The Client is looking for a Web Developer to assist with developing the company intranet as well as build internal web applications and front ends. The individual must be able to work with end users to help design and layout the site as well as program all desired features. Through the use of their experience this individual will help to design and develop a highly interactive corporate intranet and front ends to various applications currently in use by Client. • Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for the main Client intranet web site and for department websites • Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary • Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit in Client’s image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate • Build websites using technologies that conform to standards and ensure that they are universally accessible • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by the business owner • Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to business owners who choose to take charge of their own pages • Contribute to the overall development of the Corporate Intranet *Requirements* • Two to Four years of experience in web design and development or equivalent degree or certification • Experience working in a communications/ public relations environment desirable • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP, ASP, .Net and dynamic HTML • Advanced experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, illustrator, Adobe Professional, Screen cam, online discussion forums, and blog software • Experience with Sharepoint is a plus • Good visualization skills, particularly in site layout and design, optimizing layout and ease of use • Very good oral and written skills in order to design prototypes and train staff and business owners • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving • Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide training to staff • Formal training in desktop publishing applications, and photography definite assets • Superior knowledge of current and up and coming web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
