We have a requirement with our direct client for a *Senior Business Analyst to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Must have more than 10 years of experience**.*** Contract Position: Senior Business Analyst Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Duration: 5-6 months Please send me your resume to *[email protected]*** *Required Skills:* · 4 years Consulting/industry exp as business or system analyst, or tech writing role · 3 years Exp in translating requirements into optimized designs · 3 years Exp identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality · 3 years Exp with design alternatives & implications on effort, performance/operations · MS Project · Visio · Sharepoint · Familiarity w/Microsoft Team Foundation Server or IBM RequisitePro · Familiarity w/IBM Rational Requirements Composer · Exp working in a fact paced env w/multiple fast changing priorities · Ability to work effectively w/groups of different personality types · Work independently, solve problems, manage multiple priorities & deadlines * * *Required Experience:* • A strong results-oriented approach, ability to work with a multi-agency project team • Experience working on large-scale or enterprise-level projects; can adjust to dynamic schedules • Experience translating business requirements into functional design specifications • Experience creating technical specifications to be used by developers • Proven ability to document and progressively elaborate requirements using use-cases, to develop detailed functional requirements and system specifications • Experience in participating in and/or leading gap fit analysis sessions • Experience with supporting functionality such as imaging, document management, business rules engines, workflow, business intelligence, or process improvements • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment • Ability to use Microsoft office suite for creating documents, project plans, spreadsheets, and presentations for analysis, often with no template or guide. • Able to design screen mock-ups or layouts and navigational flows • Experience with developing design specifications for correspondence, reports or interfaces • Experience with writing use cases, creating process flows, and/or creating system architecture diagrams and sequence documents • Experience working with relational databases and data reporting tools (such as MSRS or Crystal) • Experience with IT change management and configuration management practices • Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats. Ability to clearly present information, verbally and in writing, to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds.
