Job Description :

This position is responsible for:
Administration, configuration, and customization of the Service-Now
application suite. Examples of these duties include, but are not limited to:
Screen tailoring
Workflow administration
Report definition and administration
Data imports and integrations
LDAP integration (foundation data setup)
Custom integration with third party software (i.e., Remedy, Quality Center…)
Responding to "how to" technical questions
Facilitating roll out of new applications and modules
Managing upgrades and any related issues
Translating business requirements into technical specifications
3rd level support in service restoration
Act as the primary technical contact with 3rd party vendor and as an
escalation point for service related issues with the vendor provided
services
Partner with business analysts, project managers, and process owners to
develop appropriate technical solutions
Develop and maintain a technology road map for the ITSM application
portfolio
Advises on options, risk, and impacts to business processes and technical
architecture during requirement and design sessions
Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and
non-technical audiences
A working knowledge of web applications, network protocols, and email
(SMTP, POP3)
A working knowledge of relational databases
A working knowledge of web services integrations
Develop and deliver management reports
Demonstrated track record designing and implementing innovative ITSM
solutions
Understanding and experience with workflow engines
Knowledge of web based development languages; specifically JavaScript,
Ajax, HTML
An understanding of the importance for coding standards and the proven
ability to develop controls to ensure they are adhered to in practice
Understanding of the full application development lifecycle
Experience in developing test scripts
Good presentation skills
Excellent attention to details, ability to multitask, and effective time
management skills
Strong customer service mindset with ability to appropriately balance risk
with service delivery expectations
Clear, authoritative and professional communication skills
Experience facilitating cross functional meetings
Relationship building and collaboration skills
Detail oriented and adept at understanding abstract concepts
