Job Description : A critical list of requirements for a firewall technologist for Customer: Juniper Netscreen knowledge has to be Netscreen, not Juniper routers/switches, as the skill set is not the same. NSM knowledge use of it to manage policies, preferably someone that has built an NSM server. Setup and tear down of VPNs strong knowledge of VPN technologies across multiple vendor platforms (building tunnels with 3rd parties using other vendors equipment). Troubleshooting using command line and GUI for Netscreen and SRX firewalls. Documentation skills some familiarity with use of Microsoft SharePoint is desirable. Teaming need someone that acknowledges when they’ve hit the technical wall and is willing to ask for assistance from peers or the vendor. Provide input to customers long-term strategy for firewall infrastructure. Facilitate plans and communication to team members during incident Resolution and Change Management activities. Maintain Visio diagrams Continue efforts to develop and deploy standard configuration templates. Participate in testing new requirements in their lab environment.
