Please let me know if you have anyone for the below *MULTIPLE DIRECT CLIENT REKS.* * * *1.* Need Sr. QA Engineer Location: El Segundo, CA Duration: 6 + Months Rate - $45/hr *Need LOCALS only, F2F required* *MUST have experience in java, iTKO Lisa/Selenium, UNIX/Linux* * * *Responsibilities:* - Complete QA projects from start to finish. - Decompose high-level business requirements into test scenarios. - Identify priorities and the appropriate resource allocation. - Deploy software in the Linux environment from .jar and .war files. - Conduct root cause analysis of software and system defects. - Document any defects discovered during testing. - Generate test reports to document all test results. - Effectively work well in a team environment. - Duties may also include defining and developing software test tools, automated test tools (e.g. CA LISA, Selenium) and simulators as necessary. *Qualifications: * - A BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field required. - 5+ years hands on experience in software development using Java and software test/quality assurance required. - Solid UNIX/Linux experience required. - Hands on experience with Grey Box and White Box testing required. - Hands on experience in testing and debugging Java-based services and applications with and without UI. - Experience in relational database and SQL required. - Experience in testing Web Services required. - Solid understanding of Software Configuration Management concepts and methodologies required. - Proficiency with one of the source control tools (e.g. Subversion, CVS). - Proficiency in a programming or scripting language. - Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and messaging protocols preferred. - Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools and platforms (e.g. Eclipse, SoapUI, JMeter) preferred. - Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules. - Able to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills are needed. You must enjoy a close-knit team environment of shared responsibility. Key skills required for this position include, - Strong knowledge in IP internetworking - IP routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP). - Good understanding of data center design and principles. - Experience in building scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure to support cloud computing. Familiarization with cloud infrastructure/application strategy and technologies is a huge plus - Deep exposure to Cisco data center products such as Nexus 7K/5K/2K, CRS-1, 7600, 6500, IOS software. - Must have good knowledge of LAN switching protocols, Global load balancer and Security components such as Cisco ASA Firewalls, - Familiarization with storage and related technologies (fiber channel, FCOE) is a plus - Bachelors or equivalent with 5 years experience in networking industry. - Cisco certification highly preferred. - Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese also highly preferred. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: 1. Design and validate the next generation LAN and WAN video network architecture for high performance, availability and redundancy. 2. Participate in the multi-dimensional efforts for DIRECTV TV Anywhere, Video enhancement and Cloud design strategy 3. Work with various system vendors on evaluating new systems and solutions as part of next generation video distribution architectures and provide recommendations. Systems include routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, content caches etc. 4. Manage network-related projects, activities and tasks.
