Involves development of new complex software solutions and enhancements to existing software, primarily in C. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software technical documentation and demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions. Additional duties may require the use of Java and general scripting abilities such as Perl. Candidate should have enough working knowledge of Java, and extensive knowledge of C for application development.
