* * *Sr. Automation QA* *6+ Months* *St Louis MO* ** ** The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer increases and maintains product quality by planning and performing automated and manual software product testing activities (e.g. system, user acceptance, etc.) during each sprint and as part of the release process. **** This role is a first-class member of the Scrum team. The QA Automation Engineer works side-by-side with the developers to (1) ensure that user stories are testable, (2) determine how a particular user story can be tested, (3) define and enhance user story acceptance criteria and (4) determine if a user story is a candidate for automation. While the QA Automation Engineer owns the testing function, product quality is everyone’s responsibility on a Scrum team.**** We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who can to adapt to a changing environment. We are in the midst of building our next-generation product while undergoing an agile transformation. This will require critical thinking skills as it relates to testing software that is “emergent”.
