The nature of our data is also changing, as data elements are changing purpose and semantics as part of the transition.**** ** ** This position will work directly with business staff as well as IT analysts in order to:**** ** ** •Hold functional and data analysis meetings with business staff**** •Determine what reports will be required at product release**** •Analyze existing data warehouse and operational reports**** •Document business reporting requirements**** •Communicate functional changes in reports to business staff**** •Participate in report design meetings**** •Create report design documents**** •Participate in data mart design discussions**** •Validate report groupings with business staff**** •Validate data mapping with business staff**** ** ** Mandatory Skills:**** ** ** •10 or more years of experience performing requirement and functional analysis related to Data warehouse and Reporting**** •7 or more years of experience facilitating data mapping and analysis meetings with business customers•2 or more years of experience designing Data warehouse reports**** ** ** Desired Skills:**** ** ** •Experience with data warehouse conversion efforts**** •Experience with IBM Cognos**** •Experience with Oracle RDBMS**** •Familiarity with IBM DB2/UDB database(s)**** •Knowledge of property and casualty insurance systems**** •Knowledge of Ohio BWC**** •Skill in the use of organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, VISIO, Clarity)**** •Ability to quickly adapt to changes and enhancements**** ** ** Projected length of the consultant engagement will be thru 09/30/14.
