*Role:PeopleSoft Portal Consultant*
*Location: Chapel Hill,NC.*
*Duration is 6 + Months*
This is for the implementation of PeopleSoft HR and Finance 9.1
1. Gather and document requirements, define and document setup and
configuration, develop functional/technical specifications, and develop
enhancements, as needed.
2. Provide application functionality and configuration expertise for
Portal application
3. Position will provide further expert consulting services to client
using PeopleSoft Portal.
4. Expectation to provide assistance in implementation of best practices
and existing designs and configurations around the functionality of the
PeopleSoft Portal through the remaining design phase through the testing
and implementation
5. The consultant will provide functional and technical experience in
the areas for implementation preferably with experience in PeopleTools 8.53
functionality as well as Unified Navigation.
6. Documents Test Cases and Test Scripts.
7. Adheres to assignment expectations and timelines
8. The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through
Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day).
Local candidates should expect to work Monday through Friday.
9. The contractor will be expected to provide complete knowledge
transfer (code review and documentation) to project team members to cover
the work completed prior to the end of the contract.
10. Working directly with developers to ensure that functional and
technical specifications for customizations meet business requirements.
*5+ Years of PeopleSoft Portal experience. *
- Strong knowledge and use of portal concepts, practices, procedures and
supporting operations. Prior higher education and/or large company
experience a plus.
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.53 Development and Unified Navigation a
plus. Proven PeopleSoft application design, configuration and testing
knowledge gained from prior implementation/upgrade experience.
*Solid experience with the following, required: *
- Integration Broker, Portal Security.
- Prefer experience with Portal architecture and infrastructure as well
as various development methodologies and debugging.
- Prefer experience with implementing the following: WorkCenter,
WorkList, PS Search Framework and SES.
Candidates should be available as soon as possible. We anticipate the
duration of the work to be a minimum of six months.
