Work to develop project scope of work, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and insure quality of projects. Project Manager Years of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Good oral and verbal communication skills and the ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms. Knowledge of Oracle databases and/or programming in C#, C++, Java preferred but not required. Role Description: * Act a liaison between COTS vendor and internal business users. * Works with project stakeholders to identify project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks. * Reviews/gathers status reports and input by project team and modifies schedules or plans as required as well as provides status updates to Deputy Director of IT on a routine basis. * Monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time. Quickly identify and report on obstacles/impediments to the project. * Coordinate efforts of internal IT staff relating to the project including but not limited to Database Administrator, Network Infrastructure Team and Web Developers. * Oversees User Acceptance Testing execution and remediation of issues. * Manages changes to project scope, schedule using appropriate validation techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated and reflective of authorized project changes.
