If you have any consultant comfortable and interested, please reply back with your updated resume and following information:- Full Legal Name: Email id: Phone Number: Current Location: Relocation: Visa Status: Availability to join: Availability for Interview: Rate: *Position: **Architect, Systems (Senior)* *Duration: 1 Year* *Location: Linthicum, MD and Baltimore, MD* *Responsibilities:* · Develop expert knowledge of Maryland’s HBX solution and enterprise systems · Deliver enhancements to the underlying core solution (e.g. technical interfaces with external systems) · Define application and underlying technology roadmaps · Deliver software architecture documents detailing the vision for how a new set of capabilities addresses the business requirements and integrates with existing applications or components · Interact with and advise business stakeholders of the application regarding functional and non-functional requirements · Create proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration · Develop enterprise level conceptual solutions · Contribute to the review and approval of conceptual, logical, and physical data models · Establish application/system architecture guiding principles and design goals · Have a working knowledge of other architecture disciplines including application, database, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture · Identify system integration opportunities · Evaluate, recommend, and select application development tools and utilities · Establish and execute formal policies and procedures for application design review and approval · Identify and implement best practices, tools, and standards · Facilitate system reliability, availability, scale, and performance activities *Minimum Qualifications:* · Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with architecting large scale solutions (Java and mainframe experience a plus) · Strong understanding of SOA principles, design patterns and ability to research and apply new technology on large scale systems · Strong ability to diagnose and solve architecture issues such as performance and security issues · Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as the work dictates · Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines · Exemplary communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, external vendor partners, as well as other internal and external stakeholders · Quick study including the ability to quickly come up to speed on business needs and translate business needs into customer service needs · Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills · Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment · Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems *Preferred Qualifications:* · Master’s degree in Information Technology or Information Systems preferred. · Previous consulting experience · Proven knowledge and hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications using C# or Java.
