Senior-level skills in systems architecture, design, development, and programming in object-oriented and relational databases and client server platforms · Experience in leading technical teams; skills as coach and consultant to development organizations · Experienced software developer, especially in an Agile environment · Experienced at mentoring members of technical teams · Bring a thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in agile development practices and the tools used to implement a highly effective test-driven development and continuous integration process · At least 6 years experience working in a high-performing agile software development environment · At least 3 years experience implementing agile development practices and coaching new teams · Ability to both pair and mentor software developers and be a servant leader guiding teams to execute on a shared vision Sound understanding and demonstrated experience with: · Iterative and incremental design and software development · Web services (SOAP, REST, etc.) · Automated deployment technologies · Common Web/Application containers · Database integration and ETL · Scripting technologies that may include Perl, Ruby, Java, etc. · Common configuration management repository technologies · Development tools and environments · Test-driven and/or behavior-driven development · Automated unit tests · Automated functional tests · Continuous Integration and deployment · Proven strong innovative and analytical ability in solving advanced technical issues and collaboratively working with others to resolve them *Additional Skills Desired: * · Certified Scrum Master; Experience as a working Scrum Master · Certified as SAFe Agile Framework Program Consultant (SPC) in version 2.x or 3.x · Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills · Experience conducting training and COP’s. · Experience designing and deploying methodologies in many types of organizations The candidate will be selected based on their ability to function as a consultant, developer, trainer, and coach, although those in this role may also be involved in typical project delivery roles. · Training and mentoring agile teams on developing software within the Scrum framework, applying agile principles, executing agile engineering practices, and utilizing continuous integration practices · Provide mentoring on the role of a developer in an agile team · Pair with and mentor software engineers on agile development practices such as pair programming, refactoring, test-driven development, automated unit tests, incremental development, emergent design, relative estimation, daily accountability, pair testing, and other related best practices. · Work closely with teams on designing and developing solutions based on user stories and business-driven test scenarios, test cases, and test plans · Provide mentoring and coaching around the build and deployment steps, processes, and tools for promotion of code and database changes to various development, test, and production environments · Provide guidance and assistance with establishing, configuring, and effectively using the various tools and processes required to support continuous integration and deployment of code, configuration, and database changes · Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes · Consult on and utilize the latest Agile methodologies · Serve as SME on Agile software engineering practices · Establish relevant metrics that help the team see how they’re doing.
