UMASS Memorial Hospital is looking for a ICD-10 Business Analyst to join
their team to support the conversion of ICD-9 to ICD-10. This person will
be working with the Program Manager and PMO Director to complete the
conversion. They are in the testing phase and need a strong Business
Analyst to be leading the testing sessions.
On a day to day basis, this person will be collaborating with the
application managers, and team leads from the impacted ICD-10 applications.
Each application has one person who is assigned to remediating the
applications to become ICD-10 compliant. This will include facilitating JAD
sessions, gathering and creating requirements, generating data mapping, and
data flows. All of the requirements will be generated through Microsoft
Word, and the data flows and maps will be generated through Microsoft
Visio.
This is an Information Services led ICD-10 implementation and it will
require a significant amount of collaboration between multiple teams. There
are currently 20-30 applications that are being impacted by the conversion
from ICD-9 to ICD-10 within UMASS.
*Top Three Skills: *
1.) 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, must be able to drive
projects and execute on the plan
2.) Healthcare background, specifically experience leading testing sessions
for ICD-10
3.) Strong experience with gathering requirements, working with end users
and documentation
