Months  Responsibilities & duties (Mandatory)*

Microsoft SQL Developer with 7 to 9 years of experience working as part of
a team developing .NET and SQL applications with the following
responsibilities and skills.

Hands on SQL Programming, Reporting on MS SQL server and MS SQL databases.
Able to understand existing Reports, Modify the reports, create new reports.
Ability to Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to database integrity,
database performance (deadlock, blocking, etc.)
Provide solutions, able to write complex procedures.

*Project Description (Mandatory)*

The SQL developer, who can maintain & support the set of SQL Databases and
SQL Programs, based applications for wireless insurance business.

Hands on SQL Programming, Reporting on MS SQL server and MS SQL databases.
Able to understand existing Reports, Modify the reports, create new reports.

*Work experience & skills (Mandatory)*

*Essential Skills*
(including minimum years of experience required for each skill)
Microsoft SQL server 2005, 2008,  SQL Programming, SSRS and  Crystal Reports

· MS SQL Server
· Able to Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to database integrity,
database performance (deadlock, blocking, etc.)
· Assist in developing and troubleshooting SQL code, indexes, stored
procedures, functions, etc.
· Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well versed with SQL
Server best practices
· Hands-on SQL programming skills.
· Adhoc reporting, Parameterized Reports, Custom Reporting Developed
interactive reports using Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services
· Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure
and indexing strategies
· Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures,
Triggers etc.
· Create functions to provide custom functionality as per the requirements
· Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid those
situations
· Ability to create/interpret an Entity Relationship Diagram
· Understanding  primary and foreign key relations
· Understanding of how Joining Tables
Understanding of normalization
· Ability to create stored procedures and views
· Ability to construct processes using
fundamental programming concepts.
·  Ability to process multiple records in a loop as individual transactions
·  Knowledge of sql transaction processing
·  Knowledge of exception handling
·  Knowledge of how to use aggregates

*Desirable Skills*

·  Strong analytical ability to analyze requirements or design to create a
solution with minimal guidance
·  Good in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and SQL Server
Reporting Services (SSRS) for report generation
·  Strong communication skills, able to express code and design decisions
to other technical staff and business analysts
·  Efficient time management skills and used to delivering solutions in a
fast pace environment
·  Ability to create technical documentation to explain the solution that
was implemented
·  Proficiency at creating optimized sql statements that are scalable
·  Experience in working a member of a team
·  Onsite-Offshore Coordination Experience
