*Middleware Engineer* *Rosemead, CA or Los Angeles, CA* *4+ Months* • IBM middleware products like websphere (WAS)/WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus(WESB)/Datapower appliance / SOA / Work load deployer (IWD). • Middleware administration on IBM products like WMQ, WAS on z/OS. • Installation, configuration, support, patching and managing the middleware environment running on z/OS, z/VM and z/Linux environments • Middleware products like Tomcat & weblogic on operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/ AIX/ Solaris & z/OS. • Operational support on middleware technologies. • Project life cycle (i.e From Design phase to PIS phase) • Middleware Integrations and Automation • Performance Management , Capacity Management & security management, clustering and load balancing concepts • Upgrades and enhancements • Good understanding of the Java EE application model (EJBs, JSP, HTTP sessions, & servlets). • Java EE 5 technologies, such as JDBC, JMS, JNDI, JTA, and JAAS • HTTP server concepts. • Ready to be part of 24x7 support.
