*Senior Remedy Developer*
*Duration : 6+ months *
*Location : **Indianapolis,IN*

*Role:*
The Senior Application Developer will serve as member of the team that is
responsible for designing new and/or upgraded solutions for our corporate
technology needs. This position will serve as an expert for the Remedy
group to advise on feasibility and methodology of integrating BMC Remedy IT
Service Management. The Senior Application Developer will perform design
and development of BMC Remedy applications, both custom and out of the box
configurations and .NET solutions.
*Required Skills:*
- Relevant development experience in Remedy 7.x and preferably in Remedy
8.x as well.
- 3+ years development experience with .NET
- 3+ years development experience with Remedy
- Ability / Experience with designing and coding new Remedy/.NET modules
or modify existing customized modules to add new features.
- Configure Remedy/.NET solutions according to the requirements specified
- Develop Remedy forms and link them back to the workflows.
- Debugging existing Remedy Modules and correct defects
- Developing simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or
data repositories
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new
hardware, or to improve its performance
- DBA / SQL Always On Availability / SSRS experience a plus
- Transforming business requirements into application designs following
IT best practices
- Develop and/or implement requirements as configurations or
enhancements within the Remedy environment
- Create and/or update documentation to comply with appropriate software
lifecycle methodologies.
- Developing systems architectures for Remedy/.NET solutions, performing
Remedy administration, and providing guidance to other developers and
administrations. The Senior Application Developer will be able to develop
estimates and be able to deliver complex development efforts on-time and
on-budget.
- Design and implement a redundant setup, policies, and procedures for
disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective availability,
protection, and integrity for Remedy.
- Integration into third party solutions with Remedy API’s/WSDL’s and
have the ability to create custom layers if BMC does not have integration
points established.
- Follow the Change Management ITIL Process
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to come up to speed quickly on business needs and also possess
excellent communication skills
- Best practice use with migrator and promoting approved workflow into
Production systems
