*Senior MS Dynamics AX Consultant*
*Muscatine, IA*
*6+ Months.*
*Required Skills*:
The Application Developer reviews, analyzes, designs, programs, modifies,
develops and implements software applications and products within Microsoft
.NET and Dynamics AX platforms. Convert project specifications and
procedures to detailed design documents. Writes code and complete
programming, and testing of systems and applications. Deliver a high
quality product on time that meets or exceeds the product requirements.
Work with minimal or no supervision on multiple concurrent projects.
Practitioner of full software development lifecycle including requirements
walkthrough, specification, documentation, testing, release and maintenance
of new and existing products.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Project Related Activities
- Plays Development role on Strategic and infrastructure projects
- Reviewing business requirements and functional specifications
- Participates in the creation of Technical Specifications
- Writing and executing unit test cases
- Code and Implement new product features. This includes all tiers of
an application. Front end, Business Layer, and DB Layer
- Diagnose and fix bugs in new and existing code.
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Develops the following standards to be used by IT Development
- Assist in maturing Software development standards
- Exercise our source code control methods. Responsible for making sure
our code files are secure and protected
- Provide Tier 2 & 3 support of production Systems
*Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:*
*Education and Experience:*
- Associates degree in Computer Science or a computer related discipline
preferred, or the equivalent experience in computer related field.
- 3+ years experience in software development environment preferred.
*Technical Knowledge:*
- Kowledge of application development methodologies
- Knowledge of database structure and design techniques
- Analyze, and translate business requirements in functional and
non-function system requirements
- Basic skills in evaluating technical documentation for accuracy and
completeness
- Understand test class development
- Analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and conceptual skills
- Knowledge of development tools and technologies for developing new
solutions
- Programming skills and experience in C# .NET required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
- Programming skills with X++ a definite plus
- Experience developing enterprise application integrations
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts
*Interpersonal Skills:*
- Ability to articulate technical issues to testers, developers,
managers and customers
- Can effectively communicate vision and direction and how to use
technology to help achieve a vision
- Thrives on challenging projects

*Working Conditions:*
- Office environment. Able and willing to work extended hours as may be
required to support existing application and to meet delivery dates for new
or revised applications.
