*Position: Mobile Tester*
*Location: *Phoenix, AZ
*Duration: 6 -12 months*
*Job Description*
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to work on mobile, mobile
web and web applications. We want someone with expert-level technical
skills who is super creative and enjoys solving tough problems. You should
be able to come up with brilliant solutions that no one else does. You’ll
be part of a team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms.
Our aim is to build interactive experiences at all touch points of a
consumer's purchase journey. The products will range from new payment
vehicles and partnerships with other payment entities to interactive mobile
experiences
- Serve as a core member of an agile team that drives user story
analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and
tests and builds automation tool
- Create and maintain automated tests running in a continuous
integration environment
- Ensure excellent application usability through careful manual testing
- Function as a core member of an agile team driving the development and
testing of Mobile platforms
- Contribute to designing test cases and testing in ongoing sprints
- Self‐motivated and able to independently learn new technologies
- Work closely with development team to iteratively test concurrently
with feature development
- Analyze and create end-point mocks to aid in testing
*Qualifications*
- 3+ years of experience in IT with an emphasis on QA and proven
ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or
performance tests, and managing defects
- Experience with Mobile App and services testing.
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Solid experience in test driven development, unit testing, functional
testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, cross
browser compatibility testing ,web service testing.
- Experience in working with mobile testing and monitoring tools and
testing automation tools like KIF, Appium, JMeter, Selenium (Selenium IDE,
Selenium RC, Selenium Web Driver), JUnit, Eclipse, and preparation of
automation test framework.
- Experience with continuous build and integration tools such as Maven,
Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with coding skills across a variety of platforms (JAVA,
HTML5, DB2, XML)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to
effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges
- Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined
problems
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in
how fast they develop working software
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer
engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience,
is preferred
- Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation is a plus
- Any of the following test certifications: QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB
are a plus
