*Role: Information Architect (UX)*
*Job Location: Irving, TX (Candidate should be local to TX only)Term: 1+
year contract (C2C or W2)*
*Start: 11/2/2015*

My client needs an Information Architect with a proven track record of
success designing highly-usable customer facing sites/mobile apps. This
role will work collaboratively with content writers and product managers,
UX strategists, designers, developers and project managers to solve
design/content challenges and to create a cohesive website experience for
internal and external users.
*What You Will Be Doing:*
· Planning information architecture of incoming design requests by
studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience; envisioning
architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality,
and user-interface design; creating user scenarios; preparing data models;
designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation;
evaluating information representation; conducting creative meetings.
· Working with UX to help conceptualize stakeholder design needs,
translating requirements into design documents, including functional
specifications, use cases, usage scenarios, wireframes, and story boards.
· Organizing information by translating user behavior into media
structure and elements; producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios,
flowcharts, and storyboards as needed
· Preparing interaction specifications, navigation rules, organization of
information, and site maps as needed
· Coordinating with Interaction Design, Content, Product Owners & other
stakeholders to integrate site concept, visual design, writing, interface,
and navigational structure; documenting structure and processes.
*Qualifications*
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
*Experience*
· 3+ years experience in a web interaction design role.
· Experience with high-volume customer-facing sites built utilizing
dynamic, data-driven content.
· Strong presentation and communication skills.
· Understanding of Content Management Systems
· Must have knowledge of web development technologies
· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
· Experience with Agile/Scrum/Iterative development
· Experience using prototyping tools (e.g. Axure)
