*Tasks & Duties*
*• * Design and develop UML class and object diagrams that will be used by
programming team to code components.
*• * Using object-oriented paradigm, produce programming design document in
conjunction with database administrator and project manager for the overall
architecture system.
*• * Develop and deliver coding standards for programming team.
*• * Design and develop the functionality required by Adult Protective
Services based on existing applications and business requirements document.
*• * Document all technical aspects of the system developed, document and
inventory all scripts, document production environment.
*• * Using service-oriented architecture concepts, work with programmers to
develop web services to interface/communicate with other systems at HRA per
specifications. There are approximately 8 systems which need to exchange
data.
*• * Implement security according to NYC's policy and regulations.
*• * Code in Microsoft .Net C# using best practices according to the
programming specification provided by the analyst.
*• * Unit test all code prior to code review and follow best practices and
guidelines for development.
*• *Implement secure web services.
*• * Provide technical documentation for all coding projects.
*Required Skills*
*• *Minimum 8 Years Software Programming development experience.
*• *Minimum 8 Years Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET C#.
*• *Minimum 8 Years Experience writing stored procedures, packages and
triggers in Oracle database 8i or higher.
*• *Minimum 8 Years In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming
techniques.
