*Location: Bartlesville, OK* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Interview: Telephonic/Skype* JD: · Responsible for day to day operations of storage systems, Data Domain storage systems across the globe. · Assist with patching, installation, decommissioning and performance analysis. · Additional responsibilities include implementing and supporting disaster recovery solutions with data protection. · Managing storage environments includes items such as hardware and software configuration, provisioning of storage, monitoring and reporting. · Performance monitoring and analysis. · Typically requires five to seven years of experience. · Under general direction and minimal guidance, uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. · Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist. · Works independently acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience. · This position will assist the team with day to day responsibilities of managing approximately 5000 backup jobs including remediating job failures, adding and removing clients, monitoring replication jobs and performing restore requests. · The environment in comprised of NetBackup 7.6 and EMC Avamar both writing to EM DataDomain disk arrays. · The candidate should have NetBackup 7.X and EMC DataDomain experience. EMC Avamar experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
