*Scope of Work*
Functional SMEs would help the County and its staff with implementing
PeopleSoft producing various bodies of work including, but not limited to,
provide solutions on business process mapping to PeopleSoft functionality,
functional design specifications documentation, business specifications
documentation, workflow design, reports design and use case or test case
documentation, training and change management:
· Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze
information needs and functional requirements;
· Retrofitting of existing PeopleSoft v9.0 customizations to v9.2
code-line in accordance with development standards;
· Identify and document business processes using process models
(swim-lane, activity diagrams) including “as-is” (current state) and
“to-be” (future state Perform FIT-GAP analysis to develop options for
gaining process efficiencies or converting to delivered functionality;
· Development of new customizations;
· Analyzing custom functionality to support functional analysis and
design;
· Develop and verify requirements, conduct interviews, document
analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business
analysis, and workflow analysis.
· Develop prototype material for user to demonstrate associated
functionality and designs prior to delivery and full system testing
· Managing the migration of the project code-line through
development and testing environments;
· Assisting in troubleshooting for the upgrade process;
· Developing and updating data conversion scripts;
· Defect fixing and other test support;
· Creating and updating documentation (functional and technical
specifications, operating procedures, configuration, testing scripts, test
materials, training);
· Provide training or overview of technology and changes
· Providing accurate estimates of effort
· Providing status of work assigned (weekly)
*Experience and Skills*
- Must have 5 years of recent experience in PeopleSoft HCM with
disciplines in two modules. Prefer 7-10 years of PeopleSoft experience.
- Must have 5 years of recent experience in start-to-finish (Full
lifecycle) implementation of highly configurable, customized PeopleSoft 9.X
HCM enterprise software solution.
- Must have 2 to 3 full lifecycle implementations or upgrade project
experience. Prefer some public sector project experience but not required.
- Must have functional knowledge in PeopleSoft 9.X HCM Modules.
- Must recent experience in implementing PeopleSoft software
applications, including use and experience of People Tools 8.54 or higher
and Oracle 12c database platform.
· Expertise and 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Development,
Design, and Test for retrofitting of existing or new customizations.
· Completion of 2 to 3 Full Life Cycle Implementations.
· Expertise in 9.0, 9.1, and/or 9.2
· Expertise in HCM processes, tables, menus, components, pages, and
business operations.
· Expertise in problem solving and resolution
· Analyze and troubleshoot PeopleSoft production issues.
· Must have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
· Understand of enabling technologies, such as HTTP, HTML, XML, Web
Services, and others.
· Must be proactive and able to work in a team.
· Functional Design and test PeopleSoft objects, interfaces and
reports using SQRs, Application Engines, Application Packages, People Code,
Integration Broker, SQL scripts, integration tools, queries, workflow, and
People Tools.
