*Job Description:*
Job Summary The candidate would be working in SAP Data Services(BODS) .
Expected to work independently or with teams on design of complex ETL flows
and Data Quality jobs. The major responsibility would be for data
conversion support for JDE to SAP roll-out. Expected to work in data
warehousing, migration & integration scenarios in SAP as well as non-SAP
(JDE) environments. Key Responsibilities
• 5 – 7 years of SAP BODS experience • Will be responsible for managing the
complete data migration activity along with offshore counterpart
• Good communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
• Profiling various information systems, capture source/target mappings and
transformations based on project requirements
• Designing complex SAP Data Services job flows to extract from/load to SAP
systems such as SAP ECC, CRM, SCM, BW, HANA as well as non-SAP systems such
as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata
• Experience with DI transforms such as Query, Validation, Case transforms
as well as DQ transforms such as Match, Associate, Data Cleanse & Address
Cleans
• Tuning jobs for high volume and complex transformation scenarios
• Configuring DS components including job server and repositories
• Setting up DS data stores to connect to variety of data sources such as
SAP R/3, SAP BW, JDE, Oracle, MS SQL Server , Teradata
• Develop jobs to extract data from SAP Extractors & Tables, SAP BW DSOs,
load to BW PSA
• Automation of DS/IS jobs using in-built and third party schedulers
• Developing and executing advanced data profiling, data validation
scenarios
• Building IS scorecards and custom Business Objects reports for Data
Quality reporting
• Working independently, conduct assessments and meetings with client on
SAP DS/IS capabilities
• Working on new initiatives and features. Developing case studies
• Experience in SAP Data Services (3.2/4.0 onwards)
• Experience in SAP related projects
• Working experience or knowledge of SAP Information Steward (Rules
development, Profiling Rules development, Scorecard setup and basic IS
administration)
• At least 2 end to end DS implementations/1 IS implementation
• Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling
• Self-starter with innovative mind set to leverage all organizational
facilities to learn newer technologies independently, help build
prototypes, engage in skillset training to others
• Experienced in onsite-offshore model
