*Job Description:* The SharePoint Architect will manage all aspects of
the company SharePoint/Office 365 implementation & environment, including
customization, development, availability, reliability, performance,
monitoring and security. The SharePoint Architect must be able to work
independently and creatively under general supervision.
*Responsibilities:*
- Manage and coordinate Farm-related aspects of the SharePoint
environment, including design, availability, reliability, performance,
monitoring and security
- Design and implement medium to large SharePoint 2013
intranet/extranet farm topologies using Microsoft Best Practices
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010,2013 & 2016
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery
operations and disaster recovery testing related to SharePoint
implementation.
- Participate in Architectural Peer Review activities with other
Groups
- Define the logical, technical, and physical architecture for
SharePoint as an application platform that are consistent with
architecture
principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Assist in defining solution delivery strategies, architectural
standards, hardware/software and infrastructure needs and
requirements for
custom SharePoint and Provider-Hosted Applications.
- Define and review the Service Application Architecture to
communicate and plan remediation for SPoF's (Single Points of Failure)
- Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related
to the development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment
(understanding relationship with active directory, SQL, IIS, etc.).
- Develop procedures to maintain and administer SharePoint
environments, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance
analysis; as well as perform as the SharePoint Subject Matter
Expert (SME).
- Assists in solving technical and performance problems within the
technical infrastructure
*Job Requirements:*
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supporting the infrastructure, farm
administration, design and deployment of enterprise-wide SharePoint
2013/2010 implementations
- Workflow Development using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
- Experience with SharePoint Online administration, development and
Office 365 migrations
- Experience with SharePoint middleware solutions
- Experience with Sharepoint 2010 is must
- Ability to multitask and show consistent quality performance
without close supervision
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and organized
