*ROLE: QA WITH CUCUMBER EXP & WHO HAS PREVIOUS EXP AS A BUSINESS ANALYST* *Location: San Diego, CA* *Duration: Long term contract* *QA Specific Info:* Specific experience with various manual testing methodologies, and some experience with test automation frameworks (although we do not need them to be an SDET). Experience with writing feature files for cucumber (BDD) *Skills needed:* Basic Analyst experience – understands various types of analysis (SWOT, Gap, Impact analysis, Cost Benefit analysis, etc.) Analytical Driven Passionate Adaptable Goal Oriented Smart Fast Has a high level of integrity Can be humble Personable Professional & polished (in speech, demeanor, and appearance) “a do-er” not someone who waits to be told. Understands typical gotchas, and pitfalls and can advise strategies to avoid them. Strong soft skills / people skills Strong analytical person – can dig in- do analysis – find gaps – find holes – find process contradictions between different pieces of documentation. Can take the lead on things, schedule meetings, etc. Verbal and Written communication is *strong systems experience with Excel, Visio, Word, PPT. etc.,* Presentation skills Highly organized with a delivery focus. Able to create and execute on a plan. Self-directed, able to move onto next task/assignment and to do what is required to successfully complete the task *Primary Contributions* Technical writing for a non-technical audience. The ability to explain technical topics in a non-technical way while still maintaining relevance of the discussion topics and pertinent information is a must. Requirements gathering and analysis, making well-founded recommendations supportable by data findings/documentation. Build end-to-end scenarios for customer business processes. Executed tests and document defects that are discovered. Build process workflow documentation of current customer processes. Develop templates for use of these documents and processes across multiple departments/projects. Collaborating with technical project teams, management and functional area employees on site and via web meetings, conference calls. Test software deliverables ensuring the system performs per functional specifications, take the necessary actions to resolve behavioral discrepancies Provide Customer Perspective to the technical team where needed and act as a liason with the customer. Create functional specifications document as required, monitor the approval of the functional specifications document with the customer. Validate the functional specifications information with the client and consulting team. Create the change requests and follow engagement procedure for facilitation and final approval. Excellent verbal skills to communicate with Senior Management, Business leaders and Technical staff Ability to work as a team.
