* Hadoop Developer
* Hive experience
*knowledge of:*
o External v/s managed tables, advantages of either
o ORC/file formats
o Experience troubleshooting and optimizing hive scripts
o how to troubleshoot with Tez DAG
o knowledge of ambary
o knowledge of Hbase
o knowledge of Flume or Storm (whatever technology listed on his
resume)
o security experience

**Roles and Responsibilities :**
* Hadoop development and implementation, preferably using Hortonworks
platform
* Loading from disparate data sets.
* Excellent working knowledge on Hive, Pig and HBase
* Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop.
* Translate complex functional and technical requirements into
detailed design.
* Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl.
* Data modeling experience with OLTP and OLAP
* Good knowledge of concurrency and multi-threading concepts.
* Understanding the usage of various data visualizations tools like
Tableau, Qlikview, etc.
* Should have basic knowledge of SQL, database structures, principles,
and theories.
* Basic knowledge of popular ETL tools like Pentaho, Informatica,
Talend, etc.
* Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
