Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications. Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in Pentaho software development and system maintenance. Demonstrated experience interacting with databases such as DB2 and Sql Server Experienced at developing elegant-yet-simple Pentaho systems using best practices and design patterns Proficient experience and understanding in the following technologies: Pentaho, ETL principles, Core Java, Javascript, Database concepts, Git or BitBucket. Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology. Highly experienced at leading teams, driving application testing and ensuring data quality. Description: We are looking for a Software Engineer – Pentaho & Data warehousing accountable for leading Pentaho application development supporting business objectives while demonstrating independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing. Responsibilities: Lead new and existing ETL applications and along with enhancements to infrastructure. Perform hands-on coding while designing and architecting ETL solutions using Pentaho. Serve as a liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas. Provides technical guidance to junior programmers and other software engineers.
