*Role: Data Architect *
*Location: St Louis, MO*
*Type: 6+ Months Contract*
*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Understand Data Migration Business requirements and produce Solution
Design artefacts with required functions (data mappings), interfaces and
detailed technical architecture.
- Enable good relationships with clients and collaborate well with
multi-location teams.
- Ability to create and manage Data Models (Conceptual, Logical and
Physical)
- Develop Non-functional designs and performance best practices.
- Carryout reviews of Low Level Design artefacts and Data Mappings
- Drive Show & Tell sessions for client
- Carryout Effort Estimation and Impact assessment.
- Provide support to Offsite Delivery Teams for planning and tracking
deliverables
- Perform code review activity for complex modules and perform hands-on
code development if required.
- Be involved in the full life-cycle of solution implementation phase
and ensure deliverables are with good quality
*REQUIRED SKILLS: *
- Educational qualification: BSc/MSc degree in Engineering/Computer
Science disciplines.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation. This is a
Client Facing Role.
- Possess prior experience in a Technical Architect capacity in medium
to large scale Data Migration solution implementation developed from
Offshore/Onsite delivery centres:
- Data Migration Roadmap and Strategy
- Experience in designing Data Migration Solution Designs, data
mappings, exception management, reports
- Solution implementation guidelines and assurance
- Extensive, demonstrable, hands-on experience on following technologies,
- Oracle 11g RDBMS or Progress database
- Data Integration toolsets such as Talend / Oracle / Informatica etc.
- Any one of reporting tool
*NICE TO HAVE SKILLS *
- Have strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills
- Consulting experience with a large multi-national is a plus
- Prior experience with DW Industry specific Models, developing solution
frameworks, productivity enhancements, and performance tuning frameworks is
a plus.
