*Position: Microsoft BI Data Warehouse Lead Developer / Architect* *Location: Indianapolis, IN* *Duration: 6++ months* *Rate: DOE* *Data warehouse / Database engineer* Star schemas need to be built for improved reporting and to feed SSAS models. Skills used: · Dimensional modeling / building star schemas in SQL Server. · Developing database objects (tables, indexes, constraints, etc.). · ETL to load the star schema layer using stored procedures and SSIS. *SSAS Tabular* Building SSAS Tabular models. *SSIS* Experience loading the star schema layer mostly to orchestrate stored procedures and process SSAS models. I've also done SSIS work to load 3rd party data from a REST API or flat files. Knowledge of the SSIS Catalog and the ability to help drive this transition would be helpful. *SSRS / Power BI / Power BI Report Server* *Skills needed:* · Power BI development, including administrative things such as workspace organization, permissions, gateway usage, etc. · SSRS reports (Most based on SSAS data sources), some of which include features such as cascading parameters, drill-through actions, etc. These reports often require hand editing MDX or DAX queries. *Architecture / Infrastructure / Advisor* Helping setup new environments and systems (SSRS, Power BI Report Server, SSIS Catalog, TFS, Power BI w gateway, etc.). Skills used: · Identifying issues and making recommendations for data warehouse architecture improvements.
