*Job Description:*

 
MINIMUM: 

   - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Three (3) years of 
   relevant experience OR Five (5) years related experience 
   - Minimum of two years’ experience at a Scrum Master/Project Lead I 
   level/Release Coordinator 

Perform an integral role in the delivery of new software systems and 
enhancements to existing systems, consistent with the product backlog and 
delivered on time

   - Oversee and coordinate release schedules and ensure release delivered 
   on time 
   - Ensure release requirements are delivered by each product delivery team 
   - Oversee and Manage implementation plans across multiple team 
   - Identify, design, develop, and implement user test scripts, quality 
   test scripts, and production validation scripts 
   - Ensure adherence to quality IT standards and review project 
   deliverables 
   - Communicate issues, actions, timeframes, and implementation outcomes 
   for each release 
   - Other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM: 

   - Demonstrated advanced knowledge for designing, planning, scoping, 
   setting expectations, testing and implementing solutions while managing risk 
   - Strong ability to lead a team including but not limited to Business 
   Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps and Developers. Strong ability to 
   collaborate with other UMB departments to establish and guide a 
   cross-functional project team to achieve objectives with quality and on 
   time. 
   - Proven ability to influence and help with the adoption of release 
   management principles 
   - Proven ability to facilitate change management activities aimed at 
   consistent adoption of continuous improvement across the organization 
   - Proven ability to lead a team to self-organization 
   - Demonstrated ability to research and leverage new techniques that will 
   provide value to a team/enterprise 
   - Basic understanding of fundamentals of software development processes 
   and procedures 


   - Proven ability to understand the value of commitments to deliver made 
   by a development team     
   - Proven ability to understand incremental delivery and the value of 
   metrics 
   - Proven ability to understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, 
   velocity, and task definition 
   - Demonstrated familiarity with service-oriented environments and 
   advanced development practices 
   - Proven ability to work/collaborate/communicate effectively with 
   diverse teams and stakeholders 
   - Proven ability to identify, design, and implement use cases 
   - Proven ability to identify, design, and implement automated use case 
   for application testing purposes 
   - Proven ability to identify, design, and implement automated validation 
   scripts to validation applications in production. 

PREFERRED: 

   - Scrum/Agile Methodology Certification 
   - Knowledge of scripting use/test/validation cases. 
   - Knowledge of Release Management
