Below is the job description:
*UI Engineer Requirements*
1. Must have 5+ years’ experience working as a UI engineer. Example
titles:
1. UI Developer
2. Web Developer/Web Designer
3. UI Engineer
1. Must have extensive experience with React.JS and using it in their
most recent role (or project within the last year)
- Must be able to develop custom front-end to a web-based application as
the sole UI developer on the team using React.JS
- *Must have experience writing in ES6 syntax*
- Must have advanced JavaScript skills and be able to demonstrate
such skills in an interview
1. Must have experience with one of the following build tools:
- Webpack
- Grunt
- Browserify
2. Must have hands on experience with CSS frameworks like Saas or
Less.js (at least 1 professional project)
3. Must have portfolio of work or work samples they can bring to an
interview
- Looking for samples of wireframing, prototyping, layout design, color
usage, different flow layouts, responsiveness, efficiency within
the website
*UI Engineer Responsibilities*
- Looking for a talented UI Engineer to solely own the front-end
development of a web-based application. This application will be internally
facing and used by a large engineering organization. This application will
serve as a critical monitoring and tracking tool for a growing services
organization.
- Work for with the team’s internal designers to transform their designs
into reality. Also working closely with end-users to make sure any
bugs/limitations with the tool are fixed accordingly.
