Following is what an ideal candidate would have: • Working experience with UNIX environments • 2+ years of ETL development using Informatica • Good Knowledge of Hadoop Eco system • Hands on experience with Hadoop tool sets like Hive, Pig, Spark • Hands on experience with scheduling tools, Autosys is preferable • Experience with requirement gathering Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Design data warehouse schematics, layouts, and capacity planning. Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. Career-Development position within field. Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline. Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or Associates Degree with 4-8 years IT Software Developer related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years IT Software Developer experience. Experience: 4-8 years IT Software Developer experience (in addition to any experience identified above). Technical knowledge usually acquired from an educational institution or through equivalent work experience.
