*Technical/Functional Skills *
· Electronics or Computer Science Engineer with 5+ year of
experience in embedded software development in Autosar architecture and
Toolchains from Vector, Electrobit etc.
*Technical Knowledge: *
· Experience in Embedded software development - Autosar architecture
and Toolchains used for Autosar based developments.
· Familiar with AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, specifications,
configuration tools.
· Experience with AUTOSAR based software architectures and
developments, incl. BSW, RTE configuration for SWCs.
· Establish and maintain a working knowledge of AUTOSAR standards
· Familiar with the Autosar tools toolchains from Vector (DaVinci)
and Electrobit. Experience using AUTOSAR software configuration tools to
generate Basic Software (e.g. Vector, Electrobit etc.)
· Strong fundamentals with Embedded C programming in 8, 16, and
32-bit embedded environments.
· Test, Diagnose, troubleshoot, and support AUTOSAR embedded
software system (E.g. OS, RTE, BSW modules) as well as application software
components.
· Implement and configure AUTOSAR embedded software used in
electronic control modules.
· Integrate AUTOSAR application SWCs with RTE & BSW
· Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication
skills.
· Ability to effectively work as part of a global team.
· Self-motivated, learner attitude and able to perform duties with
minimal supervision.
· General knowledge of engineering, service and manufacturing
processes in the automotive industry.
*Required experience to excel in role *
· Strong knowledge in AUTOSAR based software architectures and
software developments , Embedded C
· Development, Testing, Diagnose, troubleshoot, and support AUTOSAR
embedded software system (E.g. OS, RTE, BSW modules) as well as application
software components.
· Strong knowledge of Autosar tools and generation of Basic software
from the tools i.e. Vector (DaVinci), Electrobit
· Experience with AUTOSAR based software architectures and
developments, incl. BSW, RTE configuration for SWCs.
· Knowledge of Electronic Tools such as CANape, CANoe, etc.
· Knowledge of Cummins product development and release processes is
a plus
· Knowledge of Cummins Tool Interfaces is a plus.
· Knowledge of Diagnostic protocol, automotive protocols and tools
is a plus.
· General knowledge of engineering, service and manufacturing
processes in the automotive industry.
*Roles & Responsibilities *
· Create new or update existing software as per Autosar.
· Address issues identified in PRCRs assigned to by Cummins Inc. The
PRCRs are assigned during a weekly PRCR planning meeting but due to
shifting priority needs, the assignments may change daily.
· Support and training of Autosar.
· Create and maintain other supporting documentation.
· Development, Testing, Diagnosis, Troubleshoot, Validation of
Embedded software - Autosar and conventional
· Hands on use and generation of Basic software from the tools i.e.
Vector (DaVinci), Electrobit
· Integration Autosar components
