UNIX & Lin u x Detailed Job Description: In the role of Technical Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Hadoop Administration including Requirements Elicitation, Cluster Architecture definition, Design Development, Testing, Implementation, warranty and transition. You will play an important role in creation of design artefacts; deliver high quality deliverables, support activities related to implementation and transition; interface with internal team and key stakeholders; analyse and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of Hadoop Admin Life Cycle. You will also deliver high quality deliverables for each module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Hadoop Big Data Lead (Hadoop Administration): * 8+ Strong experience and knowledge in Hadoop Administration using Cloudera distribution. * Strong hands on experience on Linux and Hadoop commands. * Strong knowledge in copying data from cluster to cluster. * Strong knowledge on security Implementation like Kerberos and Sentry * Strong hands on experience on Major and minor upgrades of CM and CDH * Good exposure performance tuning of Hadoop services like Impala, Hive, YARN and Spark * Strong Knowledge on Dynamic resource pooling * Good Client Communication skills. * Good Knowledge on producing of Platform standards & Best Practices documents * Good domain knowledge on Retail industry Preferred * Exposure to Hadoop Administration. * Exposure to Linux and Hadoop environment Personal Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
