*Job Summary*
Technical Consultant should be able to manage and organize the data by
analyzing, developing and implementing data models, DW design and
standards. Develops Data Models used in integration of Pharmacovigilance
data.
*Primary Job Responsibilities*
• Work with Business, technical team and Analysts to fully
understand the business requirements and translate them into Logical and
Physical models
• Coordinate data models, data dictionaries, and other database
documentation across
• Leads design reviews of data deliverables such as models, data
flows etc.
· Partner with DBAs to transform logical data models into physical
database designs while optimizing the performance and maintainability of
the physical database
• Provides architectural oversight of project activities to ensure
adherence to standards and best practices
• Leads the evaluation of new technologies. Proposes technology
investments supported by a thorough technical analysis, proof of concept.
• Develop solid understanding of the various source data sets and
assist in laying out the overall data design solutions
• Perform data analysis and identify cause of data issues and work
with broader team to resolve
• Should be comfortable working with minimum supervision and should
be a self-starter.
• Update project documentation as required.
*Work Experience:*
• Minimum 8 years of experience in applying data warehouse
principles and industry standards to design and build data models
• Effective communication skills and facilitation experience with
business stakeholders to understand requirements
• Advanced skills in ER design, dimensional design
• Experience with a data modeling tool (Erwin)
• Experience in Data analysis and mapping, creation and usage of
metadata
• Experience working with Oracle, Teradata databases and writing
SQLs
• Experience in Agile and Iterative methodology
• Strong analysis and deep problem solving skills.
• Experience in vendor teamwork and working with onshore and
offshore partners
