The Candidate should be a SW Engineer who has managed and completed medium
size Android SW Program with an external offshore team. The candidate
should have
·5-10yrs prior SW Engineering Experience of which at least 2 years should
be in a similar role
·Sound knowledge in Android and especially knowledge in Android N or O is
required
·Good knowledge of SW Processes and procedures and Agile Development.
·A good working knowledge of C/C++ and Java
·Strong Knowledge on Embedded Driver Development in Linux/Android
·Strong good working knowledge on Android Frameworks
·To contribute to and drive team prioritization discussions
·To be able to speak to all open work - status, schedule, impediments, etc.
·To be able to conduct Bug scrubs and follow-ups on Engineering action
items form those meetings.
·Worked with product, development ,system engineering, SCM, support and QA
teams to effectively drive projects from MRD to launch
·Manage cross-team dependencies and escalations
·Good problem solving skills
·Very good communication skills
