*Responsibilities*
Software engineer to design and develop RTOS Embedded device drivers and
system software for Data capture products .
Responsibilities would include working with customers to define
requirements, coordinating with various internal and external teams to
develop software components, and ultimately delivering best-in-class
software solutions to meet our customer’s needs.
This person will work develop new image processing features, improve
existing features, and help integrate these features on Data capture
devices. The candidate must have good software engineering practice with
training and/or experience in image processing, analysis, and embedded
systems. The candidate must also be able to translate high level product
description or system goals into actionable plans.
*Q**ualifications*
4+ Year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• 6+ years embedded software development experience
• 4+ years of software design, architecture experience and software
integration.
• 4+ years Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) software development
• 6+ years of C/C++/Java programming.
*Specific Knowledge/Skills: *
• Fluency in C/C++ programming
• Linux Driver Development experience
• Experience developing multimedia solutions a plus
• Image Processing skills/experience a plus.
• Familiar with industry standard embedded design and debugging tools
(JTAG, protocol analyzers, emulators).
• Familiar with Configuration Management tools (Version control, bug
tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards).
• Good communications skills
• Good team skills
