The position requires the ability to work effectively with many departments within the Client to deliver high-quality software solutions. *Minimum Experience: 9+ Years* *Job Description:* · Work with a small team of Java developers in the technical design and development of custom applications. · Participate in design sessions with Business Analysts and/or end users to define functional requirements and specifications. · Work with Business Analysts and DBA to develop logical and physical database designs. · Work with DBA in performance testing and tuning of custom applications. · Assist in the creation of work estimates and project plans. · Provide second tier support for production applications. *QUALIFICATIONS*: · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred · Minimum of 5 years of object-oriented design and programming experience · Java EE · Struts, JSP · Hibernate · Eclipse2, ANT, CVS · Familiarity with relational database design · SQL programming · WebSphere
